Zolfo Cooper Announces 2017 Staff Promotions
New York, January 12, 2017 -- Zolfo Cooper, the pre-eminent financial advisory and interim management firm, today announced promotions of eleven professionals, including the appointment of a new senior director, Mark Cervi, to its senior management ranks.
"Mark has consistently delivered results for clients in complex restructurings," said Joff Mitchell, senior managing director and head of Zolfo Cooper’s US practice. "We are pleased to welcome Mark to the senior team.”
Based out of the Los Angeles office, Mark has been with Zolfo Cooper for 16 years, beginning his tenure as part of the Zolfo Cooper team leading the Enron restructuring. More recently Mark has been advising clients across a spectrum of industries and situations including key roles in the following matters: Maxus Energy, Relativity Media, Sabine Oil & Gas, Standard Register and Chassix.
In addition, Rodi Blokh has been promoted to director. Rodi has been with Zolfo Cooper since 2013 and has advised clients in a variety of industries including retail, energy and financial services.
The following individuals have been promoted to manager: Michela Ashton, Jon Baluzy, Jacob Caris, Jon Dutton, Howard Gou, Loring Hill, Eugene Lavrov and Kevin McCarty.
And after successfully completing the Zolfo Cooper Analyst training program, Andrew Valentini was promoted to junior associate.

All promotions became effective as of the first of the year.
