Erik Bell is a senior director at Zolfo Cooper with over 18 years of diversified business experience advising stakeholders on strategic transactions, including restructuring and M&A activities both in and out of court. Erik has extensive experience advising official committees in formal bankruptcy proceedings. His background also includes transaction financial due diligence assignments in assisting corporate and private equity clients with acquisitions and divestitures.
During his career, Erik has gained significant experience in a variety of industry sectors including media and entertainment, gaming and hospitality, food manufacturing and distribution, automotive, healthcare, construction, retail, IT services, staffing and manufacturing.
Erik has advised the Official Committees in Ceasars Entertainment, Exide Technologies, PowerWave Technologies and Kodak. He has represented lenders and noteholders in various transactions including Reddy Ice, Blockbuster and SDI Media. On the company side, Erik has advised management teams and boards of directors in numerous matters including InSight Health and a confidential construction company.
Prior to joining Zolfo Cooper, Erik spent 11 years with Ernst & Young in the transaction advisory services group and audit and assurance advisory practice.
