Eric Deichmann is a director at Zolfo Cooper with more than 10 years of experience in management consulting, financial analysis and restructuring. His experience spans multiple countries and industries, with a particular focus on commercial aviation and related businesses.
Eric has recently been working on behalf of the Unsecured Creditors Committee for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, advising lenders in an out-of-court restructuring of a Spanish-language media company, and negotiating with creditors of an aerospace manufacturing firm for its private equity sponsor.
Eric also supported the pre-negotiated restructuring of $330 million of debt for Light Tower Rentals, an Odessa, Texas-based provider of rental equipment for use in oil and gas drilling.
Eric joined Zolfo Cooper from Schultze Asset Management, where he was a research analyst focused on the credit and equity of distressed companies, including NII Holdings, Intelsat, offshore drilling rig owners and oil and gas-focused helicopter operators.
Previously, Eric was a senior manager at ICF Aviation. At ICF, he advised a wide range of clients, including investors, airlines, airport operators, regulators and manufacturers on projects related to commercial aviation.
Eric’s projects at ICF included business plan development, expert witness testimony support, industry due diligence for private equity investors and analysis of M&A transactions and outsourcing agreements.
